Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Subject Matter Expert Level Systems Engineer (Integration, Verification, and Validation).
The F-22 Ogden Test Enterprise (OTE) is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer for Test Execution and associated activities related to Test Programs and Lab Operations. The OTE is a System Integration Lab that conducts Integration and Certification of the F-22 Operational Flight Program (OFP). There are two laboratories capable of working independently or connected to execute the required activities associated with program requirements. This facility is at Hill AFB, located in Ogden, Utah.
In this role, the Systems Engineer will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. They will evaluate customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Additionally, they will perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture, while also performing analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Then they will develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Finally, this Systems Engineer will resolve cross-functional technical issues.
The selected candidate will be required to work 100 onsite at the Hill AFB, Utah facility.
Position Responsibilities:
- This position will require close coordination with external organizations including Air Force personnel, Air Force F-22 Customer, and F22 Team Companies.
- Work in a Lab environment utilizing simulations, stimulations, analysis tools, and general-purpose test equipment to define, create, and execute various scenarios with the objective to integrate and verify aircraft avionics functionality and capabilities.
- Candidate will be required to work in a team environment to execute.
- Strong procedure and test development, test tools (i.e simulations) and analytical skills (data analysis) will ensure success.
- Candidate can expect to support test execution activities as well as support activities required to prepare lab for test execution activities. Candidate will have good communication and collaboration skills as these activities will require close coordination with external organizations including Air Force personnel, Air Force F-22 Customer, and F-22 Team Companies.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Active F-22 program access is preferred, but if not currently active, must be able to obtain F-22 program access.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- Experience with Aircraft Avionics Systems such as Comm Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare.
- Experience with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, test design, test documentation/reporting and test execution.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 9 or more years’ related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous F-22 experience.
- Active F-22 Clearance.
- Experience in Radar development, integration & verification preferred.

Subject Matter Expert (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Career level: $97,750 – $132,250
Summary pay range for Expert level: $119,850 – $162,150
