Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop system and subsystem requirements, interfaces, and architectures within a Cameo/MagicDraw MBSE environment.
- Define and maintain traceability between system, subsystem, and software requirements.
- Perform functional analysis to develop operational flows and concepts of execution (ConOps).
- Decompose performance and verification requirements and create design verification plans and reports.
- Identify, define, and manage power, data, and physical interfaces across system elements.
- Ensure interface consistency and alignment across hardware, software, power, and data domains.
- Lead system and subsystem integration, test, and verification in lab and vehicle environments.
- Develop and execute integration, test, and verification (ITV) plans.
- Provide technical input to program planning, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution at the system and subsystem level.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, if required.
- Experience:
- 5–7+ years of experience in systems engineering or system/subsystem integration.
- Hands-on experience with system, subsystem, and software requirements development, design, and test.
- MBSE experience using Cameo MagicDraw (or similar modeling tools).
- Experience with Capital Enterprise (or similar electrical/system architecture tools).
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Teamcenter (Requirements Manager) and/or IBM DOORS.
- Experience designing and managing vehicle data buses, including CAN, J1939, and Ethernet, along with associated data collection and analysis tools.
- Experience in system/subsystem troubleshooting.
- Ground combat vehicle systems knowledge preferred.
- Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in offices, labs, shops, test sites, and vehicles.
- Ability to climb on/off and work in confined vehicle spaces; must pass ASR (Anthropometric Size Requirement) testing.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
