The ideal candidate for the Sr. Multimedia Designer position will have a demonstrated track record of successful visual innovation across a diverse customer base. This should include user experience design for customers who cannot focus exclusively on a single task, ideally those from military, medical, or other similar resource-challenged environments. The candidate should be able to show concrete examples of the successful application of creative thinking and utilization of advanced design skills to solve complex challenges.AVs Titan system is organically developed, with all software and hardware components created in-house. The Sr. Multimedia Designer will incorporate a deep understanding of product capabilities and customer psychology, specifically requirements of end users in Titans unique spanet space with a reputation for customer-centric design. Key to success in this role is interactively communicating concepts and prototypes to leadership, developers, and our customer-facing business development (BD) team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Understanding product capabilities and customer psychology, specifically characteristics and requirements of military end users in Titan’s evolving customer base
- Present design ideas and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
- Direct management of print media vendors; requirements, relationships, and QA
- Consider human-computer interaction (HCI) elements for resource-challenged customers
- Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer-driven needs
- Find creative methods to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability, situational awareness)
- Produce conceptual mock-ups as needed; conduct usability testing and actively gather feedback
- Ensure consistency and quality for all deliverable materials, incorporating best practices for asset modularity, storage, and re-use
- Define the correct interaction model and evaluate success
- Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a multimedia designer or similar creative role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, motion, and/or video work
- Proficiency in design and multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and motion principles
- The candidate should be prepared to provide concrete examples of past work spanning at least 3 years of active, successful development
- Must be a US Citizen with appropriate documentation
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior security clearance is a plus, though not required
- Experience with UI/UX or web design
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or interactive media tools
- Experience creating content for social media or digital spaneting campaigns
- Illustration or 3D design skills
