Areas of Responsibilities:
Technology and Business
o Responsible for technical solution development (design & interface definition) in collaboration with Honeywell business partners. Demonstrate thought leadership with focus on core architecture with increased reusability and drive reduction in reapplication cost across multiple platforms Epic and programs.
o Performs as a Systems/Software Technical Lead driving design effectiveness, first-time right quality of deliverables by working with core and program software architects.
o Establishes strong working relationships with key stakeholders (Architects, M&PM, AdvTech, Chiefs, LSE’s) to drive growth through NPI’s and RMU. Drives next-gen product evolution with core design in partnership with these stakeholders including HW, FPGA and Platform teams.
o Participates in platform and core products software architecture, design and requirement reviews as a technical lead.

Strategic Impact
o Works with Architects and Engineering Managers(EM) to develop capability in software expertise within the Core Products group and Program teams with objective to drive efficiency in integration of core products. Support cross-platform skill development, technology up-skilling, competitive intelligence analysis etc.
o Participate and Represent Core Products in tech trade shows, tech symposiums, growth incubator roadshows etc., motivate and lead the team to develop and demonstrate new product features at these events. Support robust plan and pipeline of rapid prototypes for the near-term risk avoidance to the program and medium term features which bring revenue potential through Proof of Concepts.
o Imbibes and role models Honeywell behaviors and values, HTS DNA and participates in HOS initiatives as change agent.
o Drives Agile execution through PI planning, Sprint planning, backlog refinement and scrum meetings.

Qualifications
Skills Requirements:
B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 14 years of experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions
Executed at least 2 projects end-end working with global teams. Real Time Embedded Software development experience using C/C++ on RTOS. Experience developing Systems Requirements, High level software requirements and Low Level software requirements development and systems testing for avionics products (for systems profiles).
Experience working in design, software development and reviews. Working experience and Knowledge of Displays Product lines is preferred.
Has experience in performing Software Engineering leadership roles on the programs with accountability.
Proven Software programming/design expertise demonstrated on programs.
Expertise working with Aerospace standards, Architecture principles, Coding standards and familiarity with DO178B/C.
Experience working on projects deploying Agile methodologies, strong team player and technical leader with experience of leading a scrum team developing products incrementally in sprints.
Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external).
Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects.
Good communicator of vision, ideas, and work requirement. Should have demonstrated transformational results (Innovation, Productivity, Technology) through cross collaboration.
