Responsibilities:
Design and implement enterprise and high-speed network topologies for satellite ground systems.
Maintain and administer network infrastructure using Linux IDM and Windows Server environments for DNS and account management.
Configure and support Juniper firewalls, Arista switches, and NAS/SAN storage solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and multicast configurations.
Perform vulnerability scanning, system hardening, and remediation of security findings in accordance with cybersecurity standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for network, systems, and operations.
Support virtualization infrastructure, including VMware vSphere and Red Hat Linux-based systems.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent (4 additional years of job-related experience may substitute).
8+ years of relevant network engineering experience (6+ years with a Master’s degree).
Preferred Qualifications:
Enterprise network design and topologies
High-speed data networking
Linux IDM, Windows Server, DNS, and account management
Juniper firewalls, Arista switches, NAS/SAN storage
Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, multicast
Vulnerability scanning and system hardening
VMware vSphere, Virtual Machines, Red Hat Linux
