* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study
* 9+ years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
* Ability to code in C and/or ADA
* Hands-on experience JIRA
* Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Demonstrate embedded software design experience Job Duties & Functions
* Design software systems and subsystem engineering models utilizing JIRA throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
* Develop, test, maintain, enhance, and optimize software systems and subsystem components
* Review customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use
* Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions
* Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software
* Monitor and test system performance and functionality
* Support system integration activities across software and subsystem components
* Debug software issues and resolve identified defects
* Verify software reliability, efficiency, and compliance with customer, industry, and safety standards
* Serve as a technical resource for software systems and subsystem engineering activities Physical Requirements & Environment
