Senior Technical Services Engineer (Structure)

Role Purpose
This position is mandatory under Civil Aviation Directive 6802 – Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation Approval (CAAM Part M Subpart G). It serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role to meet regulatory requirements for managing technical support related to structural work scopes.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead technical evaluations and analysis of issues reported under ATA Chapters 11, 32, 51–57, ensuring accurate root cause identification and timely resolution to maintain airworthiness and reliability.
- Serve as the primary liaison with OEMs to drive fleet structural improvements and enhancements, specifically addressing structural and ATA 11, 32, 51–57 related concerns.
- Author and critically review technical documentation pertaining to aircraft structures and relevant ATA chapters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and engineering integrity in all documents raised by Technical Services Engineers (TSEs).
- Drive policy and process improvement initiatives within FY CAMO by evaluating current workflows and proposing enhancements to increase technical efficiency, compliance, and productivity.
- Develop and validate technical instructions, specifications, and reports for structural modifications, repairs, and upgrades under ATA 11, 32, 51–57, ensuring full alignment with airworthiness standards and OEM guidelines.
- Provide expert-level technical resolutions for complex structural issues impacting aircraft serviceability, maintainability, and operational performance.
- Conduct in-depth studies and assessments of service bulletins, engineering solutions, and emerging technologies to improve the operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and structural longevity of aircraft, engines, and components.
- Ensure thorough quality control and compliance by verifying all technical documentation related to structures and ATA 11, 32, 51–57 raised by TSEs, maintaining high standards of engineering governance
Qualification(s)
- Degree in an Engineering Field, in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related filed.
- Attended relevant Aircraft Structure System course, Type Course, other relevant course.

Minimum 2-4 years in as Technical Services Engineer (Structure)

- Excellent knowledge of aircraft operations and maintenance systems and procedures.
- Good knowledge in Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
- Good knowledge in applicable regulation sets by CAAM, EASA, FAA, and ICAO.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to conduct root cause analysis of aircraft technical problems/defects which may cause aircraft groundings and to initiate the remedial actions including the implementation of service bulletins and manufacturer/vendors recommendations.
