StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our maintenance teams for the 2026 summer term.
As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience supporting our Maintenance Department this summer Youll gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What you’ll do:
- Support maintenance engineers with troubleshooting and equipment reliability projects.
- Assist in preventive maintenance planning, data collection, and process improvement.
- Help update technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency.
Position Requirements:
- Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering (or related) bachelors program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus.
- Available to work full-time on-site 10-12 weeks.
- A prospective student must meet screening and security requirements.
- Must be able to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time daily.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders in order to work on areas within the aircraft that are difficult to access.
- Must be able to think clearly and speak intelligibly on the telephone and in person.
- The internship term will be Summer 2026 (beginning mid - May)
- Length of internship is between 10-12 weeks
- Internship is located in Dallas, TX; ** students must have own lodging

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
