ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Structures Design Engineer to join our space vehicle development team in Kent, WA. This role is perfect for someone with a background designing complex structural and mechanical subsystem who is looking to develop their career in aerospace.
- Full lifecycle development of structural and mechanical subsystems – concept, detailed design, trade studies, structural analysis, testing, and qualification
- 3D modeling, drawings (components and assemblies)
- Subsystem testing, documentation and production support
ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS
- B.S. degree or higher in Engineering
- 3+ years of recent, relevant work experience in design engineering
- Familiarity with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures
- Design, materials selection and GD&T analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Creo (Pro/E), Wildfire 5 or greater, and/or Windchill 10
- NASTRAN, ANSYS, Optistruct, LS/Dyna/Abaqus
