Material Review Board Design / Liason Engineer

Contract Position
Material Review Board job in Merritt Island, Florida is available with Moseley Technical Services top Space company. In this job you will document non-conformance spacecraft structures, design repairs and perform stress analysis on repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Document non-conformance tags for spacecraft structures
- Analyze variations to part print specifications which effect part form, fit, and function
- Evaluate and provide a course of action regarding the ultimate disposition of the parts
- Evaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing process and as compared to the product definition requirements as defined by the drawings
- Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facility
- This analysis will include performing tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
- 2+ years experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with new aircraft or spacecraft fabrication
- Previous experience with aircraft MRO
