Job Summary: Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the aerospace industry? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Wichita, KS. This full-time, 10-month consultant position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experts in engineering and manufacturing, where youll play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for aerospace products. Your contributions will directly support the advancement of innovative aerospace technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide manufacturing and tooling plans for key aerospace programs.
Identify, recommend, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies that improve the overall production process in support of type design.
Apply process engineering principles and techniques to ensure the smooth integration of systems and structures in the production process.
Develop, establish, and guide the requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
Perform trade and cost studies, and contribute to leading integrated product and process teams to achieve operational excellence.
Utilize expertise in areas such as Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, and Systems and Structures.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5-8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Advanced Education: Candidates with a Master’s degree (3-6 years of experience) or PhD (0-3 years of experience) in relevant engineering disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills: Strong foundation in process engineering, manufacturing technologies, and aerospace industry standards.
Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to meet program goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies.
Expertise in specific areas such as composite materials, electrical/electronics, machining, or sheet metal processes.

Pay Details: $54.00 per hour
