Lead Quality Engineer
As a Lead Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. Lead a team as the technical expert for all APAC SEA sites by applying your expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements working with Operations, Engineering, Operations AME and Sourcing. You will support the strategic direction and initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality
In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our aerospace products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards. You will lead the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, drive process improvements, and provide guidance and mentorship to your team.
This position will report to APAC ISC quality director, and job location can be either Penang Malysia or Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the lead to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in SEA.
- Drive customer quality satisfaction and reduce external and internal escapes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Support site on Root Cause and Corrective Action and continue quality improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
- Support region quality improvement plan development and execution.
- Team up with global quality organization on quality best practice and lesson learn sharing and study within APAC region.
- Support special initiatives involving quality, supplier, customer or other business issues.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering or related role
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to read, write and speak English

- Six Sigma certification, LE/BB are preferred
- Expert with Quality Systems and Processes
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations
