Flight Operations Supervisor

Bell is seeking a Flight Operations Supervisor to join Bell’s Flight Research Center. This position is based at Bell Arlington, TX.

What you’ll be doing as a Flight Operations Supervisor.

  • Provides daily work assignments for all Flight Operations Union covered employees
  • Responsible for meeting daily customer and schedule commitments for the Flight Operations environment
  • Supervise and monitor the Flight Operations environment to ensure a safe and hazard free workplace
  • Meets all goals which support deliverables including Safety, Quality, Schedules and Costs associated with Flight Operations.
Job Requirements:

Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience or combination of education and experience.
  • A&P License required.
  • At least 1 year direct supervisory experience over hourly, non-exempt, employees strongly preferred.
  • Successful applicant must have excellent oral and written communications skills, be goal-oriented, data driven, with strong sense of urgency.
  • Proven success in leading team through a continuous improvement environment.
  • Successful applicant should be creative, entrepreneurial, and an empowering team leader.
  • Experimental Flight Operations experience preferred.
  • Some travel is required (10%).

What you need to be successful

  • Certification as a Continuous Improvement Leader, Six Sigma Certification, or Lean Expert through a recognized program preferred
