The Boeing Materials, Processes & Technology team is looking for a Space Launch System (SLS) Thermal Protection Systems and Coatings Equipment Engineering Analyst to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As a member of our team, the analyst will serve as a primary contact on production assets utilized in the cleaning and primer application cells for large metallic cryogenic tanks used on Space Launch System (SLS). The successful candidate will provide daily support to operations of the production cells and interact with Production, Engineering and IPT (Integrated Product Team) teams and provide knowledge and expertise necessary for successful operations and maintenance of these assets.
Position Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert for clean, test, and primer processing cells for cryogenic propulsion tanks for SLS
Coordinate day to day operations of cells between production, Engineering, and IPT teams
Experienced in internal cleaning and processing of large cryogenic propulsion tanks
Experienced in Primer processing and applications on cryogenic propulsion tanks
Create SOPs for Primer, cleaning, and test operations
Knowledgeable of tooling, calibration procedures, and preventative maintenance of cell equipment
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple disciplines with internal and external customers
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Technical degree & 10+ years experience or Master+8 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience ).
5+ years of experience with processing cryogenic tank production hardware
5+ years with precision cleanliness requirements and best practices to maintain cleanliness during production
5+ years NASA program experience

Summary Pay Range: $93,500 - $126,500
