Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H or FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized experience examples include technical work: drafting, surveying construction estimating, mathematics, electrical or mechanical systems.

1. Supervisor Endorsement. If your selection for this position would be considered a promotion, a supervisory statement endorsing your candidacy to Career Level IV is required by the closing date of this announcement. - Physical Requirements: Uses hand and power tools for the installation of electronic equipment. May be required to climb antenna towers, poles, or structures in excess of 50 feet above the ground.
- Travel Requirements: Travels up to and in excess of 90% of the time, which includes traveling to remote locations. Incumbent is required to travel throughout Western Service Area in support of projects providing quality control. Hands on installation may be required.
- Trade skill may include working with electrical power systems such as power panel and disconnect switches to plumbing, concrete work, and other construction related duties.
