The Work
The Engineering Planner will be part of the Test Procedure Delivery Team within the Systems Integration and Test organization. The Engineering Planner will support and assist the Test Procedure Delivery Lead in a variety of areas, including:

• Tracking test procedure deliveries, identify trends, and raise alerts when deliveries are trending late
• Monitoring test procedure and test problem report statuses on a weekly basis
• Ensuring engineers have access to the latest reference and technical documentation
• Providing meeting support for test procedure delivery topics, assist in taking actions, and driving them to closure
• Assisting with cost account management and identify opportunities for efficiency and savings
• Identifying 1LMX opportunities that can be leveraged for test procedure development

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent military experience
• 1-2 years of professional experience: Preferably in a planning, coordination, or support role
• Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in a cross functional engineering organization
• Experience working on Ship Integration & Test programs
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently with occasional oversight
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with engineers of all levels
• Organizational skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Detailed oriented with ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Proficient with task planning tools, publication tools
• Military related experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
