Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
- Implement the Company’s QMS and SMS to ensure compliance with regulatory and customers’ requirements.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits, follow-up activities and audit closures.
- Manage Corrective Action Reporting System, facilitate relevant teams and complete robust Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions. Ensure all Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions are effective and closed out in a timely manner.
- Investigate and report quality concerns including warranty, rework, complaint and feedback.
- Implement training and qualification systems, conduct airworthiness, quality and safety related training, and ensure technical training and On-Job-Training are effectively and timely conducted.
- Manage and control relevant and current technical / maintenance data, manuals, procedures, forms, data, and records, and ensure technical / instructions are established for production use.
- Perform Capability Evaluation and First Article reviews for Capability Listing. Lead / participate in Continuous Improvement.
EH&S
- Implement EHS management systems
- Ensure compliance to Corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections,
- Perform risk assessments,
- Collect, report and maintain records of all Safety and Environmental Requirements.
Metallurgical and Calibration Laboratory
- Manage and control Tool and Equipment calibration and service providers.
- Manage and maintain Metallurgical Lab Systems procedures, equipment, calibration, record and samples.
- Perform and/or supervise metallurgical / destructive testing of coating test samples for both production and development parts.
- Maintain integrity of goods receipt for use on aviation parts and maintain shelf life of consumables.
- Maintain records of and manage life limited material.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience in aerospace approved maintenance organization environment
Trained in Air Legislations and Part 145 requirements.
Trained in QMS AS9110/9100 and audit requirements. Certified AS9110/9100 Lead Assessor or equivalent is highly preferred
Proficient in root cause analysis methods and Continuous Improvement techniques.
Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health regulations. Certified Safety Officer is highly valued.
Working experience or knowledge in special processes such as Heat Treatment, NDT, Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing and Welding preferred.
Experience in metallurgy testing or certificate from Central Coatings Lab is most advantageous.
