Job Overview

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer II to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This key player will combine technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and maintain electrical systems in various domains.

Essential Functions

· Design, develop and test electrical systems and equipment for industrial, commercial, and consumer use

· Develop and maintain electrical control systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics

· Analyze and interpret technical data, such as specifications, blueprints, and schematics, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations

· Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system performance

· Plan and oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

· Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical support to production staff as needed

· Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product reliability and performance

· Stay current with new technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering

Standard Essential Functions

· Knowledge of electrical design software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, UL, and CE

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge of common industry protocols (LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, MIPI)

Education/Certifications

· Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

· Professional certification, such as Professional Engineer (PE), is preferred but not required.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
