Summary:
Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
Test and validate designs to ensure operational and functional compliance.
Monitor supplier performance for system integration and requirement adherence.
Support and troubleshoot fielded hardware/software throughout the product lifecycle. Research emerging technologies for potential company applications.
Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance post-start.
5+ years experience with a Bachelors, 3+ years with a Masters, or equivalent with a PhD in relevant fields. ABET accreditation preferred.
Bachelors in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science with 3 years experience, or Masters with 1 year.
Experience in system requirements analysis, schematic design, and hardware/software integration.
Knowledge of communication protocols and standards (RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, MIL-STD-1553).
Familiarity with military hardware design/testing standards (MIL-STD-810, -461, -1472).
Proficient in CAD and electrical schematics.
Experience with JIRA for project management (cost/schedule management, milestones, SOW execution).
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
