WHAT YOULL DO
To provide server operational support based on SLA.
Server Administration. Troubleshoot, assist in root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident.
Maintain High Availability of Servers and Systems.
Perform patch deployment in accordance with patch management practices.
Execute Capacity Management as on stated on policy
Conduct periodic reviews as stated in internal policies.
Automate and implement infrastructure services.
Participate in a new IT Project meeting, discuss with the internal IT team or vendors.
Subject matter expert in one or multiple IT Infra domains, provide guidance and train infra system operation team.
Responsible for Data Backup Policy. Execute and monitor Backup Job.
Troubleshoot backup system once there was an error or backup job failed. Perform monthly restoration exercise based on standard practice.
Perform User Access Review, IAM Review, Hardening Checklist and Sign Off.
Cloud Platform Administration. Perform changes, setup, troubleshooting on Cloud Platform base on request or incident
Support Information Security requirement.
Follow up and perform VAPT fixes based on the timeline given.
Participate in the standby rotation schedule.
Able to support and attend an issue after office hours and weekends whenever required.
Ad-Hoc task from time to time once its required.
WHO YOU ARE
Possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of solid working experience in the related fields.
Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users,bteam player, fast learner
Knowledge and working experiences in the following:
Linux OS (Redhat, Ubuntu and CentOS)
Open Source Products (Apache, Nginx, NFS, postfix and etc)
Cloud Computing (GCP, Alibaba) and virtualization (VMware).
Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS)
Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins)
Ability to script using any of the following - Bash, Shell, Python, JSON, PHP.
SSL Certificate management and lifecycle
Data Backup.
DNS Management and concepts.
Server hardening.
Exposure to the following is an added advantage:
Security Standards and Governance.
Microsoft Products (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server etc.)
Networking concepts and technologies.
Web Technologies (CDN, WAF)
Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
