Our client, a respected regional airline and part of a larger international aviation group, is seeking B1 Licensed Engineers to join their close-knit Line Maintenance team at London City Airport. Operating a modern fleet of Embraer 190 aircraft, the airline offers a fast-paced working environment shaped by short runways, steep approaches, and high-frequency operations—where technical excellence and adaptability are key.
What You’ll Do
As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the routine servicing and defect rectification of Embraer E190 aircraft. You’ll work in one of Europe’s most unique airport environments, contributing to a safe, compliant, and high-performance operation. You’ll also support AOG recovery efforts across the network, making a vital impact on operational performance and customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for skilled and flexible engineers with a passion for aviation. You’ll need:

UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with at least one aircraft type rating

Experience in line maintenance, including both scheduled and unscheduled tasks

A sound understanding of CAA Part 145 procedures

Ability to obtain an airport restricted pass and airside driving permit

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

E190 type rating preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
