Responsibilities:

• Perform Modeling and Simulation to support the development of conventional, hybrid electric and fully electric powertrains for ground combat vehicles.
• Simulation of torque blending in parallel hybrid system.
• Controller/logic tuning for fuel consumption, charging and vehicle range.
• Thermal models of power electronics, batteries, and powertrain components.
• Battery Management System modeling.
• Multidomain powertrain models coupling engine, e-machine, batteries, and electronic components.
• Development of toolsets for evolving architectures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Master’s degree preferred
• Simulation experience using Matlab/Simulink required.
• 1+ years of related experience
• Proven history in the development, correlation, operation and maintenance of analytical toolsets.
• Experience in interrogation and manipulation using 3D Modeling software
• Experience preferred on commercially available and proprietary software.
• Automotive and Heavy-Duty vehicle experience required. Military land vehicle experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and components
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
• Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.
• Must be a US Person.
