Advanced Systems Engineer

Contract Position
$48.50-$53.50/Hour

Responsibilities:
As a systems engineer for Land and Air Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and testing embedded systems, products, and services that make a real difference in keeping our heroes and nation safe
Develop and test embedded systems, products, and services that enhance mission capabilities
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by federal law
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience (Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience)
- Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience leading the systems development lifecycle, with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and processes
- Experience applying technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks independently and within a team
- Experience clearly conveying concepts through written and verbal communication
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply new technical concepts.
- Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring within engineering teams
