We are seeking a Lab Facility Coordinator to support cybersecurity development and test laboratories for U.S. Navy Submarine Combat Control and Weapons Systems programs. This role involves hardware integration, lab infrastructure support, server and network configuration, cybersecurity test environments, system validation, troubleshooting, and test execution within classified and unclassified DoD environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and integrate test racks, servers, switches, KVMs, storage devices, and related hardware components.
- Install, cable, label, and maintain rack-mounted equipment and laboratory infrastructure in an organized and scalable configuration.
- Build and configure servers using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software.
- Configure and support network switches, connectivity devices, and laboratory communications infrastructure.
- Manage equipment inventory, property accountability, asset tracking, and hardware lifecycle activities for government and company-owned equipment.
- Support laboratory planning activities, including facility layout, power requirements, cooling requirements, and infrastructure readiness.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and coordinate hardware procurement activities, including vendor lead-time tracking.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate repair, replacement, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities with suppliers and vendors.
- Execute informal and formal system testing to validate technical and program requirements.
- Analyze requirements documentation and develop methods for test planning, validation, and verification activities.
- Install, configure, and validate Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity software solutions.
- Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and checkout activities at remote test locations as required.
- Assist with development of test engineering documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports, and validation artifacts.
- Communicate technical issues, test results, and program risks to engineering teams and management.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Technician, or a related technical discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum 5 years of experience in hardware integration, test engineering, systems integration, laboratory support, cybersecurity environments, or U.S. Navy Submarine Combat Control or Weapons System experience; OR equivalent technical engineering experience.
- Or 9 years relevant experience without a degree
- Experience assembling, integrating, configuring, and testing computer hardware systems and laboratory equipment.
- Experience with server builds, hardware installation, network equipment configuration, and systems troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, encryption, and network communications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic Linux command-line experience.
- Experience conducting system testing, validation, verification, troubleshooting, and requirements-based test activities.
- Ability to support classified and unclassified laboratory environments and work in hands-on technical settings.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity certification (Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar).
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), or secure development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevSecOps environments, and automated testing infrastructure.
- Ability to read and understand C, C++, and Java source code.
- Experience developing test plans, procedures, validation documentation, and test reports.
- Experience supporting submarine combat systems, defense electronics, or DoD weapons system programs.
