PlusOne Air is growing and we are looking to add more experienced dispatchers to our team of Flight Dispatchers for our 135 Operations based at the Fort Pierce International Airport, in Fort Pierce, FL. This is not a virtual or remote position, the incumbent must work onsite at Fort Pierce Airport.

Duties:

• Coordinate with ATC, crew scheduling, Maintenance Control, Reservations, Marketing, Catering, and Ground operations to efficiently utilize resources to achieve customer service.
• Dispatch company aircraft according to Government and Company regulations as set forth in FAR 135
• Delay or cancel flight if unsafe conditions prevail (Joint Pilot and Dispatch responsibility)
• Analyze and evaluate meteorological information

• Previous Flight Dispatcher experience (Preferred)
• Prior Charter Operations and Flight Following experience (Preferred)
• Strong aviation background with an emphasis on aircraft Dispatching under FAR 135
• Technically oriented with a thorough understanding of aviation weather, flight planning, aircraft performance, Federal Aviation Regulations and the ability to create and implement plans in a dynamic environment
• Strong Communication and Organizational skills 
• Strong multi-tasking capability
• Must be able to work flexible, rotating schedule including nights and weekends

• High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience dispatch experience
• Flight Dispatcher License (Preferred)
• Must be computer literate/Microsoft

Physical Requirements

• Work in a high stress environment while maintaining a calm composure
• Must be able to work flexible, rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time, exposed to computer screen lighting, and artificial lighting.
