CAE SIMCOM is currently seeking a qualified candidate as a On-Call Piston Turboprop Instructor Pilot.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Instructor for classroom, instrument ground trainer and flight training activities.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Conduct ground and flight simulator training for trainees at SIMCOM. Evaluate the trainees progress in gaining skills and knowledge by the standards established at SIMCOM Maintain competency and qualification authorized to instruct. Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

- A solid base of knowledge is essential.
- Demonstrate competent instructional knowledge in a dynamic learning environment.
- Learn new skills that directly affect product value.
- Effectively evaluate customer training needs and proficiently coach and instruct. Employ creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Attain applicable ratings and qualifications in an economical and timely manner.
- A current CFI certificate with multi-engine instrument ratings is required for full time employment.
- Personalize and tailor instruction to optimize learning and satisfy customer needs.
- Provide and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- SimCom offers training for its’ customers seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. The utilization of your instructional services will be scheduled in accordance with customer training needs.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Education, prior work experience, and specialized skill and knowledge:
- Bachelors’ degree a must.
- Time by aircraft type and licenses required.
- CFI/II, training center evaluator (capable),
- Airline experience glass cockpit preferred.
Avionics Part-Time - CFII - 500 hours of dual given minimum
