Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job DescriptionThe Electro-Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the rapid manufacturing of sub-assemblies and finished systems. This role involves assembling various types of components including cables, harnesses, panels, mechanical assemblies, and large system builds. Additionally, you will participate in system troubleshooting and diagnostics, interacting with test technicians and engineering to resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate should be able to comprehend assembly documentation, safely utilize required tooling, operate material handling equipment, record system information, adhere to company policies, and interact positively with team members.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues with varying levels of complexity.
- Have a working knowledge of electrical theory and signal processing.
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other production-related documentation.
- Solder wires, PCBA’s, and components.
- Utilize a combination of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Utilize measuring tools such as multi-meters and continuity checkers.
- Provide assembly feedback and suggest changes or improvements.
- Complete build records and documentation as required.
- Conduct quality checks on own work and may execute buddy checks on others work.
- Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization utilizing 5S methodologies.
- Follow manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to company regulatory and compliance policies.
- Participate in cross-training activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required).
- ESD Awareness
- Average computer skills used for daily tasks.
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Drive and ambition to execute and complete work in a timely manner.
- Personal sense of integrity, trust, and respect.
- Strong interpersonal skills to set and maintain a positive culture.
- Current or expired certification in IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard.

This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
