Opportunity to work for a leading aerospace and engineering organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Assembler to support ongoing production and integration efforts. Key Responsibilities
Electrical Assembly & Termination
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use crimpers to terminate wires and cables
- Strip wires to specification
- Strip and terminate shielded cables using environmental shield terminators and solder sleeves
- Perform terminations using environmental splices
- Use heat guns for solder sleeves, splices, shrink sleeving, boots, and related components
- Solder “J” hooks to terminals using a soldering iron
- Perform daisy-chain wiring and multi-point terminations
Electrical/Mechanical Box Integration
- Route wires properly and cleanly within electrical/mechanical enclosures
- Understand component polarity and ensure correct installation
- Install hardware including screws, washers, nuts, gaskets, and O-rings following proper stack-up procedures
Required Certifications
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification (Cable & Wire Harness Assembly)
- IPC J-STD-001 (or IPC-A-610) Certification (Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies)
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical assembly or related field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or industrial electrical assembly environments is a plus
