Job Title: Bench Technician
Job DescriptionAs a Bench Technician, you will conduct board level troubleshooting to identify and resolve electronic issues. You will perform product testing to verify proper functionality after repairs, execute product repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment, and utilize soldering and desoldering techniques to address electronic components. You will need to read and interpret schematics to guide repair processes accurately and maintain effective multitasking abilities to manage multiple repair projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct board level troubleshooting to identify and resolve electronic issues.
- Perform product testing to verify proper functionality after repairs.
- Execute product repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Utilize soldering and desoldering techniques to address electronic components.
- Read and interpret schematics to guide repair processes accurately.
- Maintain effective multitasking abilities to manage multiple repair projects.
- Record repair data and parts used on associated paperwork for documentation.
- Collaborate with co-workers and customers, demonstrating positive interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to strict quality standards and safety protocols.
Essential Skills- Proficient in troubleshooting, bench tech, avionics, electrical testing, and wiring.
- Strong soldering and crimping skills.
- Experience in board level troubleshooting and avionics repair processes.
- Familiarity with utilizing hand tools and various test equipment.
- Must be able to read and write English fluently.
- Two years of experience in electronics repair.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent multitasking skills to manage concurrent repair projects.
- Self-motivated quick learner capable of working independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with soldering, desoldering, and reading schematics.
- Experience with multimeters.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
