Avionics TechnicianJob Description
As an Avionics Technician, you will perform troubleshooting, installations, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems for F/A-18 aircraft. Modifications may include upgrades to Radar Packages and Communications equipment.
- Conduct avionics troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform installations and maintenance of avionics systems.
- Modify and upgrade avionics and electrical systems for F/A-18 aircraft.
- Handle fiber optic cable installations and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics for aircraft systems.
- Support O-Level Maintenance tasks for F/A-18E and F/A-18F models.
Pay:
- $35-$38
- Per diem available for non-local candidates.
Placement Details:
- 1 year contract to hire.
- No tools/license required.
- Working in hangar and some on flightline.
- Mostly inside/not exposed to elements but is a non-climate-controlled hangar.
Shift:
- Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
