* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with corporate jet, commercial, or military aircraft maintenance, including Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections if formerly in the military.
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, or FAA Airframe license.
* Personal set of tools.
* Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Skills
* GROL certification or Aircraft Electronics Technician certification.
* Certification from an avionics or electrical aircraft technical school or equivalent military training. Job Duties & Functions
* Install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
* Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
* Perform and document all work in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.
* Remove, repair, and reinstall avionics equipment prior to aircraft release.
* Assemble and install electrical components.
* Operate ground support equipment as required.
* Accurately diagnose avionics system issues.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of all repairs and work performed on aircraft. Physical Requirements & Environment
