Basler Turbo Conversions is looking for a talented Avionics Electrical Technician. This role is crucial in the conversion of a C-47 into a twin turboprop aircraft, known as the BT-67 model. The Avionics Technician will develop a customized drawing package for the aircraft, ensuring it aligns with specific build requirements. Responsibilities also include installing, configuring, and testing the systems that have been installed. Additionally, the technician will preassemble electrical harnesses and components for upcoming conversions. You will also perform a variety of avionics maintenance and repair tasks on our C-47, which may involve some travel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct avionics inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems.
- Perform a variety of avionics maintenance and repair tasks on our C-47, which may involve some travel.
- Build electrical harnesses and components for upcoming conversions.
- Promote safety and comply with FAA regulations.
- Demonstrate expertise in avionics systems and troubleshooting.
- Carry out the installation and functional testing of avionics components and systems on aircraft, adhering to engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals to ensure a flawless system.
- Analyze technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve issues in avionic systems.
- Use specialized tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments to identify and rectify malfunctions in avionic systems.
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and engineers to facilitate effective communication and coordination during repairs and installations of avionic systems.
- Maintain compliance with aviation regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Document maintenance and repairs accurately.
- Conduct functional tests on avionic systems to verify proper operation and implement necessary adjustments as required.
