As an Avionics Technician, you will be associated with the unique avionics’ architecture of a full fly by wire spaceship that include but are not limited to harness installation, wire tying, wire bundle routing, wire stripping, terminations, continuity checks, troubleshooting and other dynamic and exciting spacecraft manufacturing operations. Shifts available:
Mon- Thurs, 6am – 4:30pm
Mon-Thurs, 4pm – 2:30am
Thurs-Sun, 6am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $32- $40 (dependent on experience and shift)
What Else You’ll Do:
Assist in supporting the manufacturing team in installation, design, development, and testing of parts and technologies used on aircrafts or in space exploration
Adhere to set directions and guidelines from team leader to support collaboration across teams to complete project
Provide input of technical and operational knowledge in the assessment and repair/maintenance recommendations in support of the program assigned
Ensure quality and efficiency of installations, including troubleshooting and may provide guidance in troubleshooting processes and concepts
Adhere to assembly instructions to ensure accurate completion of complex project assemblies
Continuously practice safety behavior and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness/prevention; adhere to regulatory protocols and rules
What You Bring to the Team:
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of avionics and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to install, diagnose and repair equipment
Attention to Detail: Precision work including handling of measurements and operational data points
Hands-On Experience: Expertise with tools, technical manuals, and repair procedures.
Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team and document work accurately.
Your Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Airframe & Power plant (A&P) training preferred
Minimum of three years of experience with aircraft fabrication and assembly required or equivalent industry
Experience with aircraft wire harness fabrication and installation as well as LRU build up and installation.
Demonstrated ability to use computer applications to follow manufacturing work instructions
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and/or models on paper or digital

Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
