Mid-Continental Avionics is a Part 145 repair station and Garmin dealer providing avionics, instruments, and electrical power solutions to the general aviation industry. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and testing of avionics systems and components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and certify avionics systems on aircraft.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in instruments and equipment.
• Document work performed in compliance with company processes and FAA requirements.
• Collaborate with Avionics manager and other technicians to ensure quality service and timely delivery.
• Stay current with industry standards, manuals, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Avionics Technician on general aviation aircraft.
• Extensive knowledge of Garmin Avionics and Garmin autopilot installation on general aviation aircraft.
• FAA Repairman Certification or ability to obtain one (preferred).
• Strong understanding of general aviation aircraft instruments, avionics systems, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
