Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Software Administrator to join our Enterprise Support team based out of Fairfax, VA!In this position, you will develop and design cloud applications, services, and products. This will include web applications, full-stack development, data integration, cloud application deployment, and maintenance.

*This position is 100 REMOTE*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are limited to:

  • Collaborate with development team to follow Agile principles and practices

  • Develop and pioneer software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs by conferring with stakeholders and IT Management

  • Strong Power Platform development capability to include usage of other tools in the Microsoft365 collaboration suite such as SharePoint, Forms and Teams

  • Create and maintain solutions documentation to include system versioning, development notes, charters, and roadmaps

  • Utilize advanced Power Platform capabilities such as the creation and maintenance of Environments, Environment Variables and Solutions

  • Design, develop, and manage software capabilities and provide daily - maintenance of the existing solutions

  • Should feel comfortable creating moderately complex Power Automates (Flows) to support Power Apps and other business process requests

  • Create functional and engaging PowerBI dashboards from various data sources

  • Study systems flow, data usage, and work processes

  • Adhere, advocate, and champion development fundamentals and processes in accordance with a Software Development Life Cycle

  • Build proof of concepts for stakeholder review

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • 2+ years of related experience working with Power Platform (Power Apps, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse)

  • 2+ years of experience in a software role handling analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of custom applications

  • Must be able to engineer, build and maintain SQL databases for low-code application development

  • Should be able to develop Canvas applications using collections, variables, patches and the creation of in-grid editable tables
  • Familiar with active directory and role-based access as well as the management of Power Platform Permissions and Security

  • Must be familiar with the administration of Power Platform

  • Must be familiar with Dataverse and Model-Driven application development to include Power Pages

  • Familiar with Power Platform licensing, troubleshooting and support

  • Ability to write thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user documentation

  • Must be self-starting with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to both team environments as well as on an individual basis

  • Must have excellent communication and comprehension skills

  • Must be able to manage workload effectively and with minimal oversight

  • Must be comfortable within a team environment

  • Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline

Other Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing in an Agile framework

  • Microsoft Certification PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals)

  • Microsoft Certification PL-100 (App Maker), PL-200 (Functional Consultant) or PL-400 (Developer)

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
