Revenue Management is a blend of art and science that requires a combination of spanet awareness and targeted analysis to make commercial decisions.Responsibilities:
Management of an assigned group of spanets to maximize network revenue by using appropriate levers and commercial knowledgeEnsure completion of weekly workflows in accordance with business processesAnalyze booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and risks in constantly evolving spanetplaceObtain strong knowledge and detailed understanding of customer booking behavior and willingness to pay Development and execution of coordinated pricing and inventory strategies Liaise with other RM practitioners to ensure accurate forecasts, correct inventory and that proper competitive pricing is in placeCalibration of RM System inputs to reflect recent changes in the spanetplaceValidation of RM System outputs to ensure continued alignment with spanet expectations and strategiesConduct appropriate monitoring and post-audits using key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordinglyProactively and effectively communicate findings and the tactical/strategic action appliedDemonstrate ownership and responsibility for portfolio assigned and of any ad-hoc initiatives
QualificationsUniversity degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience Hands-on team player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsAction/results oriented, analytical with strong problem-solving skillsDisplays flexibility and adaptability to quickly react to operational issues and/or a changing spanetplaceAbility to prioritize heavy workloads comprised of weekly routines and adhoc tasksComfortable telling a story through data in order to drive actions and achieve branch goalsInterest in the aviation industry and learning about the practice of RM
