Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a skilled recruiter to oversee recruitment efforts at our Bradley International Airport (BDL) station in Hartford/Windsor Locks, CT. If you have 2-3 years of recruiting experience and a passion for aviation and ground handling, we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate should be proficient in:
Active Recruiting: Sourcing and recruiting for hourly and management positions in aviation and ground handling. Stay active on job boards, social networks, and platforms to find quality candidates, while creating and posting job requisitions and announcements.
Recruitment Strategies: Applying leading-edge recruitment principles to develop strong candidate relationships and support the recruiting team.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilizing career websites, including SAP (our internal applicant tracking system), to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. Actively source passive candidates through spanet research, developing professional relationships, and referral networks.
Candidate Search Management: Implementing external sourcing strategies and assessing candidates to deliver high-quality talent to our facilities.
Interview and Evaluation: Developing interview protocols, interviewing and evaluating applicants, and extending employment offers.
Pre-employment and Onboarding: Performing pre-employment verification and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
Collaboration: Working closely with managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals. Managing the full recruiting lifecycle across various open roles.
Relationship Building: Fostering high-touch relationships with a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions open.
Innovation: Partnering with the recruiting team and managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
