Responsibilities
- Shall include but are not limited to: Supports the development and implementation of QC methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards, guidelines, and procedures in a logistical-based organization.
- Supports the development and definition efforts of major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite QC resources for an actual effort.
- Maintains a process for evaluating QC methodologies to comply with standards, capture data generated by new mission sets like equipment work orders, life cycle maintenance, AARs, QC messages, pending work orders with open item follow-ups, scheduled parts replacement, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)/MMIS data management, and trends analysis.
- Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development cycle. May perform duties and responsibilities as the assistant to the Medical Equipment Management Office (MEMO)/Property Management Office (PMO).
Qualifications
- 10 years of Medical Materiel Specialist II (MMS 2) or higher field experience, to include six years of specialized medical materiel management and quality assurance management experience.
- Specialized experience shall include general supply activities, ordering, receiving, quality assurance management, trend analysis, quality assurance data management, customer support, inventory management, assemblage management, warehousing, and operation of various materials handling equipment.
- The specialized experience shall be in a healthcare/healthcare support or ECMM environment or setting. Must have subject matter expert level experience in using and running transactions in the MMIS as well as working knowledge of BMET MMIS procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in a logistics related discipline or a nationally recognized certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred but not required.
