The Precision Fires and Maneuver (PF&M) product area is seeking an early in career Program Cost Controls Analyst (P2) to join the Maneuver Systems finance team. This role supports production and development contracts for Loitering programs. It offers a unique opportunity to work on a fast-moving growth area and the opportunity to work on a product from the early stages.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Program Management and cross-functional teams to manage financial performance and provide critical insights into program execution. This position offers significant opportunities for interaction across finance, supply chain, engineering, operations, contracts, and program management, requiring strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
This role is being offered onsite and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done at the Tucson, AZ location. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do
Partner with Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to prepare, analyze, and review monthly cost and quarterly Estimates at Complete
Assist in contractual Earned Value (EV) cadence and assist with the preparation of the IPMDAR
Manage program cost and schedule data to ensure alignment with program objectives
Collaborate with Supply Chain to achieve financial and contractual commitments
Prepare and deliver financial performance updates for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
Analyze labor and material cost variances to provide actionable insights
Support the Program Management Office (PMO) in maintaining accurate financial forecasts and staffing plans
Assist in developing and presenting program financial deliverables
Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support various tasks to meet business objectives
Gain exposure to and assist in proposal activities, including developing data to support BOEs, gate packages, and presentations
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field & a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Business Warehouse and/or similar platforms
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting and/or variance analysis
Experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Word)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Familiarity with Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Earned Value (EV) methodologies
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. Along with strong written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
