The Revenue Management and Pricing department strives to maximize Icelandairs profitability throughout its network. The team consists of highly skilled individuals, who by developing the appropriate commercial strategy, ensure that revenue and yield targets are delivered.
We are looking for a Pricing Analyst who will be responsible for maximising Icelandair‘s revenue performance for an assigned route portfolio, in close cooperation with key stakeholders from various parts of the organisation.
This is a fast-paced, highly rewarding and challenging role suited to someone with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate spanet trends, forward bookings, competitor behavior, performance of past initiatives, and offer proactive recommendations as well as actions to drive network revenue
- Manage the revenue performance and deliver the revenue targets for a portfolio of Icelandair’s routes and products
- Using data from multiple sources, assess competitor activity, recommend, and prepare competitive responses as well as strategies aimed at improving Icelandair’s commercial performance
- Communicate your commercial strategies to key stakeholders within Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Network Planning, and other relevant departments
- Develop and review processes as well as best practices associated with pricing
Qualifications:
- A university degree fit for purpose
- Prior airline industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding of airline pricing, revenue management principles, and concepts
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting large volumes of complex data as well as using it for decision making and strategy building
- Experience with ATPCo, fare management systems or other pricing tools is beneficial
- Ability to take initiative and to get involved in as well as lead projects as needed
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Open-minded and positive team player
- Well-developed prioritization and time planning skills as well as ability to work under pressure
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
