In the role of Production Planner youll play a major role on our Repair Station Team.

This position contributes to our vision by:
•Analyzes customer independent demand and assists in developing repair schedules accordingly.
•Synchronizes supply plans per demand to ensure smooth flow of material while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
•Collaborate with cross functional groups, such as Procurement and Production, to expedite orders or resolve issues that might potentially impact our turnaround times delivery.
•Plan and coordinate material transfers to support our after-spanet business.
•Participate in meetings to discuss weekly/daily schedules, material shortages and priorities for repair.
•Assist in the establishing bill of material effectivities.
•Investigate and analyze root cause of planning issues.
•Interface with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) regarding lead times, status and commitments.
•Work with Coordinators to prioritize repair orders and expedite critical parts on the shop floor.
•Closely interact with Procurement to help expedite critical parts.
•Work with other personnel in cross-functional process improvement teams for specified tasks assigned by management.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•\tKnowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
•\tThorough understanding of operational concepts surrounding MRO planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operations and shipping/receiving.
•\tAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and take initiative.
•\tAbility to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams.
•\tAbility to operate PC with knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software packages.
•\tStrong oral, written communication and analytical skills.
