FAA Part 145 Repair Station

We are seeking an experienced MRO Customer Support Specialist to support customer accounts within our FAA Part 145 avionics repair station.

This role serves as the primary customer interface for repair orders and service requests, coordinating closely with operations, planning, and shop teams to ensure repairs move efficiently through the MRO repair lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting maintenance repair and overhaul operations, understands repair order workflows, purchase orders, and service quotes, and can manage customer communication throughout the repair process.

This is an in office operational role working closely with repair technicians and planning teams.


REPAIR ORDER LIFECYCLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage repair orders from customer request through quote approval, repair authorization, shop processing, and final delivery.
  • Track repair turnaround times and job progress within the ERP or MRP system.
  • Coordinate with planning teams and repair technicians to prioritize repairs and meet customer deadlines.
  • Communicate repair status updates, delays, and completion estimates to customers.
  • Monitor open repair orders and service jobs to ensure progress and customer visibility.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts within an aviation MRO repair environment.
  • Review and process customer purchase orders, repair requests, and change orders.
  • Coordinate internally with planning, operations, and shop teams to ensure repair jobs meet turnaround and delivery commitments.
  • Interpret customer purchase orders, repair scopes, and service instructions to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals.
  • Maintain customer communication throughout the repair lifecycle.
  • Track open orders, repair jobs, and customer documentation in the ERP or MRP system.
  • Resolve customer issues or repair order discrepancies while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Support account management and customer retention initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting Maintenance Repair and Overhaul operations in aviation or industrial service environments.
  • Experience managing repair orders, service quotes, and customer accounts.
  • Strong familiarity with purchase orders, repair authorizations, and service documentation.
  • Experience using ERP or MRP systems for order entry and job tracking.
  • Ability to coordinate with operations teams and repair technicians to manage service workflow.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general office systems.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

  • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station.
  • Experience supporting avionics repair, aerospace component repair, aircraft maintenance operations, or aviation service centers.
  • Background working with component repair orders, aircraft parts repair, or avionics service operations.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.
