Role Introduction

Reports to: Internal Communications Manager

As part of the Internal Communications & Engagement team within the People Department, we are seeking an ambitious, passionate and dedicated person for this role to help us create effective and impactful communications that inform our colleagues - and sometimes even surprise and delight them.

You will contribute to the creative and implementation of the content and channel communications strategy, from content design, scripting to video filming and editing, to ensure our varied employee groups around the world are well-informed, connected and engaged. Working closely with colleagues and teams across the Company, you will support our range of internal communications and engagement initiatives that span from big company-wide news and events to everyday business and employee updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute on initiatives and campaigns of our internal communication strategy to support varied communications objectives and our broader company strategy for targeted employee groups
  • Ideate, create and produce internal communications content for use across multiple channels, which could include design, scripting, video editing, filming, photography
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support that spans the internal communications channel mix, including our digital employee portal (intranet), videos, digital screens, social media, the internal communications common mailbox and other channels
  • Support the ongoing management and monitoring of our digital communications channels, with a particular focus on our intranet for employees
  • Provide support in data analytics and handling, compilation of performance reports and records management for internal communications initiatives and projects
  • Support the broader Internal Communications and Engagement team on projects and events as required
  • Work with agencies and / or vendors as required
  • Keep up to date with the latest internal communications trends, technologies and innovations
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline
  • At least two years of experience in a communications, spaneting or creative content/production role
  • Ability to design, develop video stories from concept to filming and editing; photography skills is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience in managing digital platforms and content is an advantage
  • Self-motivator with strong multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Proactive and friendly communicator who can work well with different teams and stakeholders across the business
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to think and work creatively in a fast-paced environment
