Are you our new Inflight Retail Business Analyst?

As our new colleague and Business Analyst, you will be part of the Inflight Retail team, responsible for analyzing onboard sales and managing the business controlling agenda. In this role, you will provide financial and business insights to support both internal and external stakeholders, while having the opportunity to influence and enhance our ways of working within performance analysis and business controlling. The position is located in Riga and is a temporary role.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

    • A minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles.
    • An academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • Strong academic background in accounting and financial reporting.
    • Experience with ERP and reporting systems, preferably SAP.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and IT systems.
    • International business experience (preferred).
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Motivation to find answers and solutions to problems.
    • A practical, hands-on approach to tasks.
    • Proactive and able to take the initiative.
    • Self-driven with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
    • Organized and capable of prioritizing tasks under time pressure.

In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Focusing primarily on inflight retail performance analysis and developing actionable recommendations.
    • Preparing inflight performance reports based on onboard sales data.
    • Summarizing key findings and suggesting areas for improvement.
    • Conducting monthly sales and profitability analysis.
    • Evaluating business processes and developing strategies for optimization.
    • Performing cost control and analysis.
    • Collaborating closely with the Category Manager and Operations Manager to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
    • Acting as a key partner for both internal and external stakeholders, including the external retail partner for Inflight Retail.
    • Proactively identifying and prioritizing initiatives to maximize business value.
    • Developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports.
