Customer Support and Services
The IBP Commercial Spares Associate (CSA) role applies to Commercial Spares only. The CSA primarily reviews and tracks Commercial contracts through IBP organizations to ensure a timely execution of contracts to the customer. The CSA also serves as a point of contact for Customer Support and Services (CSS) for questions regarding the delivery of components.
What you’ll be doing as a (IBP) Commercial Spares Associate
• Create and distribute penalty contract supply needs file to procurement and Center Of Excellence (COE) teams for material availability status and track until final delivery in SAP.
• Initiate and coordinate support to facilitate relevant tasks for the delivery of commercial spares contracts e.g. initiating change board request, providing support via phone and email, etc.
• Create Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to move material from 3920 and/or 3968 to 3980 to cover customer back orders and Aircraft On Ground (AOG).
• Create Stock Transport Orders (STO) to move material from 3916 and 3977 back to 3980 or from 3977 to 3916 if previous analysis results in material transfer needs (excludes plant 3980). • Review “exception 20” messages in SAP for supply centers and remove or schedule supply signals that meet agreed guidelines (excludes plant 3980).
• Perform RAM demand entry, change, and removal as needed.
• If non standard SAP release, responsible for 3980 commercial convenience kits including coordinating components and processes to support on time delivery and customer needs.
• Participate in the movement of materials to support commercial kit production.
• May serve as point of contact for CSS requests to COEs regarding the status of relevant tasks listed above.
• Participate in team working sessions to identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement needed initiatives. • Where directed or required by Management participate in collaborative sessions with Management and other employees to assist and contribute to the development of new processes and existing process improvements.
