Core Responsibilities:
· Facilitate the full new hire process, including preparing new hire packets, conducting orientation, and processing onboarding and termination paperwork.
· Assist in tracking and notifying management of upcoming employee review dates and ensure timely completion.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HRIS system, ensuring timely input and data integrity.
· Assist in the recruitment process by creating and posting job advertisements, screening and testing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing background and reference checks.
· Oversee internal communication tools such as bulletin boards and monitors.
· Maintain confidential personnel records
· Assist with employee recognition programs, including service awards, attendance incentives, and employee luncheons.
· Support training initiatives by keeping records up to date
· Work directly with Human Resources on various assignments and special projects
· Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: · Proven office and administrative experience required, preferably within Human Resources.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance practices (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO/Affirmative Action, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, OSHA); multi-state HR experience preferred.
· Ability to perform the listed responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
· Skilled at planning, prioritizing, and coordinating activities across departments to meet deadlines.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present information effectively in one-on-one and group settings.
· Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues effectively across all levels of the organization.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
· Demonstrated high integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Education Requirements:· High school diploma or GED Required
Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday 25 hours a week
