At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re searching for a dedicated HRIS Specialist to support our client’s HR Service Delivery team in Herndon, VA. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in transforming HR systems as we evolve toward a full Workday implementation, helping create a seamless and modern employee experience in the aviation industry. Youll be the bridge between HR, IT, and business stakeholders—ensuring our HR tech isn’t just functional, but future-ready.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
Maintain and enhance HRIS systems, supporting optimal performance and user experience
Lead and contribute to system upgrades, customization, and development projects
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IM/IT, Finance, and Data Privacy teams
Drive HR tech solutions that align with compliance, data security, and user needs
Analyze user data and system metrics to recommend performance improvements
Support end-users with troubleshooting, documentation, and technical guidance
Create automation workflows and integrate technology across platforms
What You Bring to the Runway
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, HR Management, or related field
5+ years supporting HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP Vantage, WorkforceNow
Experience with HR tech implementation and system upgrades
Solid grasp of HR compliance, data security, and process optimization
2+ years in customer service, admin, or HR support roles
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday HCM Suite and/or DayForce
Proven ability to collaborate across business functions and influence outcomes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Pay Details: $40.00 to $43.00 per hour
