Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist/DQMR to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Distribution business organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and provide oversight of the BGS Quality Risk Management process to identify and mitigate Quality risks across the entire BGS network. Developing metrics and Executive required reports.
Lead a variety of improvement projects while applying knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and AS9100 International Quality Standard.
Evaluate the impact of new and revised regulatory requirements and guidance material to BGS products and services, and that may affect the business of BGS or its customers.
Support cross-functional and multi-team coordination between BGS Functions and Business, BGS Legal, the Product and Services Safety organization, BCA Regulatory & Quality System Oversight, and other Boeing organizations while simultaneously ensuring project milestones are met.
Schedule, plan and lead internal Quality Management System audits for process compliance and adherence to the AS9100 Quality standard.
Schedule, plan and lead process surveillances for procedural compliance.
Analyzes Quality incidences, internal / external audit findings, and customer issues to determine product risks and implement mitigation plans.
Ability to apply Systems Thinking and make recommendations for Quality Management System improvements and efficiencies.
Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality.
Advises senior leadership on development of Quality Management System improvements, overall health, and streamlining opportunities.
Advises multi-function groups on development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and data to continuously improve Quality processes.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5+ years’ experience conducting Quality Management System audits.
Holder of current Lead Quality Auditor Certification (ISO9001 or AS9100)
5+ years of experience working with Quality Management Systems, International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100/AS9120).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s in business administration.
Internal Audit Certification.
Experience working with other Quality Standards such as AS9110 and AS9120.
Experience working with Regulatory Agencies such as the FAA, EASA, or other nationally recognized regulatory agencies.
Travel:
This position may require traveling up to 25 of the time.

Summary pay range: $90,000.00 - $138,000.00
