Job Summary
The Data Integrity Specialist 2 is responsible to coordinate and provide complete and accurate patient demographics to the Patient Billing Department. Ensure direct contact is made with medical crew on revenue transports within required time frame.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Review transport documents for accuracy & confirm all documents are properly indexed & Review Pt Care Report for accuracy and request corrections
- Complete required QA spot checks reviews per week and provide feedback to staff; Collaborate with Management and the QA Department to identify training needs within department
- Review and complete base forms requests
- Complete required peer-to-peer quality assurance checks for 25 of previous shift workload, update DIS internal scorecard when applicable
- Monitor transport activity and take inbound calls from crews
- Make outbound calls to follow up with medical crew members and agencies to obtain missing paperwork/information
- Assist in the training of new hires, continuous training, and cross-functional efforts
- Review and complete required department reports
- Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years customer service and/or insurance verification and/or data entry experience; preferred
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Advanced customer service and phone skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude, while working in a fast-paced environment
Computer Skills
- Intermediate with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
