Job Description The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers’ missions. What You’ll Do:
- Lead configuration and data management (C&DM) support for multiple programs.
- Conduct configuration control board meetings, support engineering drawing reviews and facilitate approvals in PLM tool.
- Establish, control, and maintain required configuration information using Agile and SharePoint.
- Utilize configuration and data management procedures.
- Process and release Engineering Change Orders (EO) while ensuring accuracy and compliance to our C&DM processes.
- Receive, process, and provide dispositions regarding CDRLs/SDRLs.
- Track and report on all program data deliverables and provide delivery forecasts for CDRLs/SDRLs
- Interface with Customers and Suppliers as needed to reconcile all data delivery records.
- Responsible for ensuring data items are delivered timely and accurately.
- Prepare the delivery of data items in accordance with contract requirements.
- Prepare letters of transmittal as required.
- Provide necessary data items to support technical meetings and represent C&DM in such meetings as required.
- Support program management and engineering staff in utilization of database tools and adherence to C&DM processes and provide training to program team as needed.
- Represent C&DM discipline to business units as first point of contact for program support.
- Provide C&DM support/guidance to subordinates/peers as well as cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
